2. What data do we process?

Account data. When you create an account, we process your name, email address, company details, login credentials and information about your subscription and payments.

Administration and invoice data. slimzaak processes the order, customer and invoice data that you enter yourself or that is retrieved through the platforms you connect, such as bol.com, Amazon, Shopify and WooCommerce. This data may contain personal data of your customers, such as names, addresses and order information. We process this data solely to provide the service to you.

Usage data and cookies. We use functional cookies that are necessary for the operation of the website and the application. Analytics or advertising cookies are only placed if they are active and you have given your consent through the cookie banner. More information can be found in our cookie statement.

3. What do we use your data for?

We process personal data for the following purposes:

• providing, maintaining and securing the service (performance of the agreement);
• creating invoices, credit notes, VAT summaries and reports within your administration;
• billing your subscription and processing payments;
• customer support and communication about the service;
• improving the platform based on usage information (legitimate interest);
• complying with legal obligations, including tax retention requirements;
• analytics and marketing purposes, only to the extent that you have given your consent.

4. How long do we retain your data?

We do not retain your data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Invoice and administration data is subject to the statutory tax retention period of 7 years; we retain this data for the duration of that legal term. Once the applicable periods have expired, data is deleted or anonymised, unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.

5. Who do we share data with?

We do not sell your personal data. To provide the service, we use processors, such as providers of hosting and email services. We enter into data processing agreements with these parties that meet the requirements of the GDPR. Beyond that, data is only shared with platforms that you connect yourself (such as your online store or marketplace account) and with authorities where we are legally required to do so.

6. How do we secure your data?

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including encrypted connections and access restrictions for staff.

7. What are your rights?

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

• the right to access the personal data we process about you;
• the right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
• the right to erasure of your data, insofar as no statutory retention obligation applies;
• the right to restriction of processing;
• the right to object to processing;
• the right to data portability (transfer of your data);
• the right to withdraw previously given consent.

You can submit a request via info@neovant.nl. We will respond within the statutory time limits. If you believe we are not handling your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

We may amend this privacy policy from time to time, for example in the event of changes to the service or to laws and regulations. The date of the most recent change is shown at the top of this page. We recommend that you review this policy periodically.
